I have never been big on long lists of New Year’s resolutions.
Instead, each year I choose one focus. One theme. One intention that I carry with me through the next twelve months. I have learned that when I name it, my mind starts working toward it. I begin to notice opportunities that align with it. My choices shift in small but powerful ways.
In 2024, my focus was relaxation. That meant more rest, more massages, more quiet moments, and more genuine self-care. I did not become a totally different person overnight, but I did slow down. I learned to listen to my body and give myself permission to pause.
In 2025, I chose travel. I decided that I was going to see as many places as my schedule and budget would allow. And I did. Because I claimed it, I leaned into it. I planned trips. I said yes more. I made memories in new places that I will carry with me forever.
So what about 2026?
For 2026, my focus is building Heritage Pin Co.
We received so much love when we launched in November, and I am incredibly grateful and excited for what is ahead. This year is about growing, learning, and sharing our work with more people who see themselves reflected in it.
We are already gearing up for some beautiful moments:

showing up for wedding season
There is one week left in 2025, and that is more than enough time to choose your own focus for 2026.

It does not have to be loud or public. It just has to be meaningful to you.
If you are a visual person like me, sometimes having a small reminder helps. Our New Year’s pin has become that for me. I keep it on my vanity and when I see it, I think about saying yes to new opportunities, staying open, and walking boldly into the rooms and moments that 2026 will bring.
Whatever you choose for your year ahead, I am cheering for you. We believe in you and wish you clarity, joy, and prosperity in 2026.
